Sourcing Approach
Sourced from the same principal Indian turmeric belts as powder, with whole-rhizome lots selected for finger character, visual quality and declared origin.
Quality Focus
Whole lots are assessed for moisture, curcumin, volatile oil, defects, insect damage and extraneous matter, with finish agreed before shipment.
Packaging & Supply
25/50 kg lined PP woven sacks, 50 kg lined jute or double-gunny bags, 10/20 kg lined cartons, and 500–800 kg lined FIBCs where appropriate.
Origin
India — principal trade types from Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Telangana and Maharashtra.
Seasonality
Curing and drying run January–April; new-crop whole fingers are generally available from March, with peak supply March–June.
Sustainability
Whole turmeric avoids origin-side milling. Improved curing-water reuse, recovered polishing dust and traceable farmer-group sourcing are available by programme.
